Adding multiple Email accounts to Gmail

Gmail have very wonderful feature which allow users to add multiple accounts to there single Gmail account.After adding multiple accounts to Gmail user will receive all emails in single centralized Gmail account .No need to login in to all of your Gmail accounts for checking emails.

Gmail also allow you to reply to other email accounts by corresponding email ID.For connecting account other than Gmail with your Gmail account you need SMTP and POP3 details of email server.Email accounts with POP3 and SMTP support only can be integrated with Gmail.If you are trying to add other Gmail account with your main Gmail account, you must enable POP support for that Gmail account.

For this navigate Settings-> Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab.

Once this is enabled go to Settings->Accounts->Get mail from other accounts->Add a mail account you own

Enter email address to add and click on NEXT STEP button.
If you are going to add another Gmail account of you own then pop3 server details not required. But if you are going to add any email account other than
Gmail then POP3 and SMTP server details required.

Once add all valid details and click on “Add Account” button verification email will be sent to your added email account. Just check that email account and verify your email account by clicking verification link. Your account is setup and you will start receiving any new email coming to your email account.

While adding email account Gmail give following options for configuration:

1. Leave a copy of retrieved message on the server:
If you select this check box then it will leave copy of retrieved email in connected email account, else email will be deleted from your account after retrieval.

2. Always use a secure connection (SSL) when retrieving mail:by default this is checked.

3. Label incoming messages: This will label emails as per email account

4. Archive incoming messages (Skip the Inbox): This will not show emails in Inbox and emails will be directly archived.
