Gmail filter to block sender
If you don’t want some of the sender than you can block those in the gmail account.
This is done by a simple filter where all the incoming mail from your favourite forwardes to the trash folder as it arrives.
There are few steps to block the sender in Gmail:
Follow the create a filter link. You will get this link in the settings menu of the gmail account, then select the filter sub menu.
Type the desired email address under from:
- You can block the entire domain by entering just that email address. For example atsuko@example.com and pjotr@example.com, just type “@example.com”
- To block more than one address, separate them with “|” that is a vertical bar.
- Click to the Next step >>
- Make sure Delete it is checked under choose action so that you can delete it .
- Click Create Filter
- Check also apply filter to ______ conversation below to delete previously received messages.
In this way you can create filter for your gmail account.
